To go NCAA status they would have to give up corporate support. UK as a club team is semi pro, but as NCAA it would have to become amateur. If UK was smart they would sponsor an NCAA version but allow the club team to remain.
Flip side is Mitch sees all the cost, but can not grasp the intangible benefits. Will not happen while he is AD.
