Interesting that it hasn't been mentioned on here yet. Just goes to show that we here in the SEC have some of the largest glass houses ever recorded. Nothing personal against USC, but this would be front page of the AJC sports section at exactly 12:31am and the narrative would undoubtedly be that Mark Richt had lost control (per Kirk Herbstreit) had it been a UGA player. But since its in Columbia, the only outlet I have seen reporting it is the teams 24/7 site. Just seems to show the ultra hot spotlight you reside in near the Atlanta area, I suppose.
Not sour grapes, just don't think that it could be disproven.
Na'ty Rodgers

Yep. Well said. It'll be fun to see what all the dawgsessed USCe fans have to say about it

Like you said part of it is UGA's proximity to Atlanta and part of it is confirmation bias.
You guys are closer to the larger and more independent regional media centers and then there's that perception that Richt's teams are soaked in criminality so when one, or five or ten Bulldogs get arrested each offseason they're more likely to make the news than a USC freshman being arrested for underage drinking. It's quite simple really.

The UGA alum beat writer for the State josh Kendall made some excuse about the county Athens is in posting arrest info online. Also claimed two USC football players were arrested over winter break but the info didn't come out because Richland county has a different process (fat fricking chance)

UGAs always get arrested.

You realize the reason UGA catches so much flak for this kind of stuff is because it happens nearly every single year for UGA right?

Steve Spurrier has lost control of player conduct.

Is his last name Garcia? Ninety lives. Steve rules with an irony fist.

In the past 5 years, USC's FB program has only had 4 reported arrests...
UGA's FB program has had 174 in the same time frame. It's a statistical fact...
