State going for the series sweep tomorrow.

I want to give as much credit to State as I can, but Vandy is really off this weekend. I honestly believe the crowd had a big factor in this series. Hope for a good game tomorrow. I have a feeling Vandy takes tomorrow.

I know Vandy is one of the best teams in the nation, but they've looked terrible this series.

State has pitched 4 guys in 2 games so we have 6+ guys that could come in at any point tomorrow and win the game. Should get the sweep if the bats stay hot.

The State game @ LSU on the Saturday is going to be amazing.

Any teams goal should be a 2:1 win ratio in baseball in conference
LSU losing two last week and sweeping today puts us at 4-2 in conference, right where we need to be.

Congrats. You'll have to excuse me for being excited about potentially sweeping the #1 team in the country though.

I caught part of the game telecast on CST last nite and both announcers made the comment that they feel the environment got to the Vandy team: 9 walks, 2 hit batsmen and 5 errors in one game, 4-5-6 walks in last nite's game..that is nowhere near the same Vandy team LSU played last wkend.So while State gets all the credit in the world in taking full advantage, Vandy also "choked", too. It happens in college baseball.

it was vandy's first SEC series loss since 2012 IIRC
