The only thing that remotely make sense is freeze winning some girls bball titles.

You do not think any could match any of those Schools offer ? Lets be realistic, ND and TX have big bucks, but they have proven they are not going to pay anything well above the market value. The highest paid coach in the Country is Saban, Auburn has the same resource as bama.

i see you've lost the ability to understand a senetnce.
example 1:

you responded "1982"
i get what you're saying but its not what i asked
now, example 2:

Is AU in a lose-lose situation?
it was a simple question brought on by my insatiable appetite. i merely provided examples to allow you to understand my thought-process behind my question.
cool?!

So is that all you can counter with ? Check Gus's salary compared to any of those schools coaches. Check out AU Athletic Budget compared to those Schools, profitability. You need to come up with something better than throwing out schools with big names and not looking at the entire picture.

So you're saying Auburn > Ohio State?
Yes. Auburn has one thing going for it that OSU doesn't, SEC. Gus is also the sole person who negotiated his extension before this season was over. He didn't go through his agent on this. Now what does that tell you on how Gus feels about Auburn?

Or that he loves Auburn and knows he can do at Auburn everything that he could do somewhere else. It's not that hard to figure out.....but spin away gump.
Jimmy Sexton is his agent. I hear he is pretty shitty. Gus probably needs to get somebody else.

All we ever heard at Alabama was that Texas could outbid us, but you don't think they couldn't outbid Auburn? Are you delusional?
quote:
Facilities- AU can match any of those schools facilities.
Perhaps.
quote:
3. Recruiting Base- There are more DI Athletes within 250 miles of AU than any of Those Schools.
Maybe, but you're up against Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, etc. Texas trumps this.

Fan Support- you tell me.
Pretty sure Texas and ND would top Auburn in this category easily. Probably Michigan, Ohio State, and USC as well. OSU and UM don't share their state with another program that takes over half the fan base.

Not quite at Alabama's level. Alabama's athletic revenue was 19 million more than Auburn's in 2012.

You use the year where bama goes to the NC and AU isn't in a bowl game...

thought you would catch your own error. dont really have time to look up the numbers but i think as of now Texas, OU, FSU, OSU, Mich, Penn, and Arky's coaches are paid more... but thats off the top of my head. i could be wrong and USC, UCLA, and ND have the potential... notice something else abou these schools(except arky)? they all have other sports that bring in a good amount of money boosting the entire athl. dep. come on guy its good to be a fan but dont be delusional

What was the difference in total dollars put in the pocket? Not that much. 2012 was also a shite storm for our football program and that cost us money.
