I'd take New Orleans over Atlanta any day. Hell, I'd take St Louis over Atlanta any day.

Slive said last night before the UGA game, that the conference really wants to have every sport identify with a city for its championships ...

Hoover- Baseball
Nashville - default Basketball for 10/12 years , and will probably become the permanent location.

Atlanta is the capital city of the South. DWI
Also, you may want to brush up on your geography. Your list is pretty strange

SC is in easy driving distance of Atlanta. So is Alabama. Alabama is a lot closer to Atlanta than New Orleans. Ole Miss and MSU are about the same distance to each.
Gainesville is over 7 hours from New Orleans.
