For the sake of argument what will everybody say if Coach Grantham has tremendous success up at Louisville right out of the gate. Some of you will be eating a lot of crow pie.....

Secondly, I heard the Carrollton HS HC quit to become an analyst for the Cocks in Columbia and the school hired in some old geezer from the 1980's who is on his last leg. This after turning down the Thomson & Griffin HC who threw their hat in the ring...

I am not certain that Grantham having immediate success at Loiusville will mean a whole lot, to be honest. For one, the level of competition is not nearly the same and secondly, Petrino will be putting a lot of points on the board, so a lot of teams will run out of gas just trying to keep up the scoring pace with them.

I honestly don't give 2 shits how he does at Louisville. He didn't get it done here. That's really all I care about.

Idk he "retired". To be honest, you'd know more than I would it sounds like. Fwiw, I think he got tired of going deep in the playoffs and never winning it all.

SMDH. Terrible. Griffin was great last year.

I'd say Congratulations to CTG for learning from his mistakes and radically changing his ways. Cause.......thats the only way "tremendous success" is gonna happen for him, imo.

Grantham had his dream team 3-4 defense cast of players in 2012........and they under-achieved. Badly. He will probably never have that kind of talent ever again like he did in 2012.

Good luck CTG. You are going to need it...

I'll eat the crow if he has better players on D at Louisville than he had in '12 and has tremendous success with them. But also keep in mind that he's playing against ACC teams.
