When you have over half the defense looking at the sideline wondering what to do/where to go as the offense is snapping the ball, you have a huge problem.

When that happens all the time every game for the last couple of years you have a defensive coordinator that needs to hit the bricks.

It's that simple to me. And that obvious. I honestly don't think I have ever seen a defense as confused as ours at any level, let alone D-1 college ball. And it was happening with our veteran players.

No excuses. Good riddance Grantham. Period.

Fwiw, I have a source who told me Grantham added to the already large playbook weekly.

If the same players are doing the same shite this season, then we will know that some of it was just that we have players too stupid to coach but, considering it was happening the whole time Grantham was here, including 2012 when we had lots of NFL talent on D, I am inclined to believe that it had SOMETHING to do with him.

Like Cracker said, it could be as simple as him just being too much of a douchebag and holding grudges with players and that made them not want to take instruction from him.

Either way, its inexcusable to field a D that looked so lost at almost all times.
