Tennessee's been playing well as of late. On KenPom they are rated #338/351 in luck but still have a top 30 defense and offense. They have that Virginia blowout in their favor too. Don't know if that's Cuonzo or just the players though.

Virginia is their only top 25 RPI win this year and only one of two top 50 RPI wins.

Their resume, quite frankly isn't that impressive.

a light's come on for them the last couple weeks... i don't think it's Martin's coaching... he's an average at best coach who's got probably the 2nd or 3rd most talented lineup in the league.

What hurts UGA?

0-2 vs. RPI top 25
0-6 vs. RPI top 50

Yeah I know. And those bad losses.

To be fair though, sweeping LSU and Missouri knocked both of them out of the top 50. Beating Arky once probably bumped them out of 50 too.

I don't know about Arky. They lost to Alabama. I don't basketball, but I read that somewhere.

I don't think so.

I think both are in, without play in games.

Tenn is safe with a win or two in the tourney, but if you think Arky is in.. Lose the first game of the tourney and see where you end up.

He's referring to the fact that we blew out the last 3 teams by just about 30 points or better every game. Granted it was against Missouri, Vanderbilt and Aub. They're still playing at a high rate and look the best they have all season going into the SEC Tournament. Both teams need a good rpi W going into next Sunday. It should be a good one, but one I think we should win.

I think if Arkansas wins their 1st game, the winner of the Arky/Tenn game will definitely be in and the loser will have to sweat. Arky will sweat more.

I almost hope they get in and get to the Sweet 16, just to see how Knoxville deals with the Cuonzo/Pearl situation. I have a strange feeling the town would still meltdown.

Note, I did say 'almost.' They are still UT.
