True Story:
I was working at the Sanctuary on Kiawah Island a couple years back on the front drive. It was a big day. The golf tournament Coaches vs Cancer was arriving. Both college football and basketball coaches arrived with three invited guests to support fight against cancer. Of course no UGA coaches showed up but I met Frank Beemer, Roy Williams, and Butch Jones (when Bearcats coach).
Well this one Gamecocks fan was checking out as these guys were arriving. He had the whole schmeel: gamecocks golf bag, headcovers, hat, etc. Wouldn't you know it, ole Spurrier shows up. He's getting out of his car and starts strutting around letting everyone know he's there. This guy freaks out and starts the "OMG coach Spurrier! I'm the biggest fan, I love the Cocks, yada yada yada..." Spurrier just says "thanks". Then the guy says "Can I get my picture taken with you?" and Spurrier says ok. The guy's wife is about to take a pic as this guy puts his arm around OBC when OBC says "Whoa now, we just met!" He thought he was being funny but the poor guy felt bad. Truly, the other coaches around rolled their eyes.
After the pic OBC and the guy are still chatting about the Cocks. It was the Cocks this, and the Cocks that. Finally I said, "We need some Dawgs around here!" trying to be funny. Yeah, I know. I was being a douche. So ole Spurrier turns to me with a deadpan look and says "I'm sure there's trash laying around here somewhere." I laughed. I really did. Then they went back to chatting.
Some GT guy comes up to Spurrier and says, "Hey coach, just wanna say I don't follow SC too much but I admire you as a coach." OBC says, "Well I don't care too much for GT unless y'all are beating them Bulldogs." And he turns and looks at me right in the eye. I look him right back and say with a straight face, "Really? Really??" He just nods and turns away. A couple guys I worked with thought me and Spurrier were going to go at it. I started it, yeah. But he's a dick.
Anyway, all of the coaches- all of them- were great. Nicest guys you would wanna meet. Except Spurrier. frick him.

I lol'd at this.
I have several stories but nothing really major.
-06 tennessee game I was down by the hedges in front of our student section about to walk up to my seats and these like 40 year old UT fans are talking shite to the first few rows of our students. Well I had my liquor blanket on so I grabbed this guy's shoulder and spun him around movie style. He's a lot bigger than me and twice my age, I certainly wouldnt' have done this sober. So he's in my face and I'm talking crap back about different things he likes in his mouth or whatever and the cops break us up. Idk what they did with him but they grabbed my arm and kept walking me straight, through that east corner gate, up under the east stands, and straight out the back onto east campus road. First and only time in my life I've been kicked out of a game. BUT, of course I got back in.
-Lots and loooooooooots of shite talk in games. Pretty much every away game. Last year after AU scored I was on the front row of my section and this like 13 year old kid is celebrating and starts to walk across the aisle to leave and I knocked his hat off. I felt bad about that one though legitimately. Sorry kid.
-The only other time things almost got physical was after the 07 Auburn game. 2 of my good friends were in town from out of town, who are both just massive human beings. One of them was actually on roids at the time I believe, and the other played college football. This is in addition to my best friend, who is also a large person. So we're basically invincible. My bros basically told me "talk shite to whoever you want, we got this". So we're just walking around downtown and I am laying into EVERY auburn fan I see between the ages of 18-30. Doesn't matter what they're doing or who they're with, they're getting an earful. Eventually one group of a few college aged AU kids decides to get smart back so we're at the corner of college and washington kind of squaring up with each other, when I swear straight up movie style a group of like 6 or 7 of Athens minorities (I don't think these were students, they looked like creatures of the night that likely reside downtown) come stand with us. Well the battle lines were clear at that point so the AU fans left and we all high fived the other guys then we went to the closest bar and I think they started having a c-walk competition.
-Oh I forgot there was one time were it was actually physical. It was the 2010 tech game and it was the first and only time in my entire life I've ever hit someone. I still regret it, because that's no way to act. Anyways I was walking down baxter street to go into the game and I'm on the campus side and these tech fans are on the bookstore side. I'm talking crap because I mean it's tech and I'm drunk. So they're talking back and that's fine so we get to the bottom at lumpkin and this group of 3-4 come over to where me and a few others are. So we're jawing and we're all just kind of squared up and I don't know something just kinda snapped and I swung on one. I had done a few other extracurriculars beforehand that may have contributed. My knuckle got cut on his tooth and bled throughout the whole game...there's a picture of me online on that website where the young people walk around the stadium and take your picture and then give you a card to find it later with my hand wrapped up in a napkin and bleeding. I felt bad about that though, and I won't ever do that again.
But seriously though I am not a confrontational person, those are the outliers.

Oh and also at the 2009 tech game I was walking by myself down some big hill towards the stadium and they had a "tech walk" type deal where the whole band is in formation about to walk down, and I accessed the formation. Like I joined in the band and started playing a fake trumpet and marching with them with my red pants and UGA sweater on. One of the nerds pushed me back to the sidewalk but geez it was a limp wristed shove.

When I get drunk - I become quite and reserved so I never got into any altercations at any sporting events.
Not sure if that's good or bad.

That's called being normal. The people who tend to get into fights are almost always d-bags.

You sound like an idiotic bully.
Some day, some little tough guy is going to punch your nuts in, you stupid shithead.
Getting in a fight over your football team is inexcusably stupid.
Too bad a cop wasn't around to throw you and your idiotic family in jail for shoving the guy.

Also Samson half the stuff he was saying to me was not about the football game. It became personal and I was tired of it so I did something. Also my family stopped the fight so how about not calling them idiotic? Also I never get into fights like this. This was my lone time and last time

Because you said earlier that your team lost in the playoffs to the team that won the 1A Private Championship. My nephew plays for Mt Paran. Just wondering...

Yall should like this. Once upon a time, me and preston pannell were sitting in the windows of the loft 2 doors down from the boars head. Corey Phillips came out of the boars head and an AU fan, who still attended UGA, started the shite talking about Corey being 3rd string, Corey grabbed this guy so fast and proceeded to hit him with a power bomb, damn near a razors edge. Needless to say, when you hit the road that hard you dont wake up until you get an MRI and the brain swelling goes down.
Ive got many of these, most was myself and my cuz getting in fights in athens. if you went to UGA about the same time as odell and big dan, you might have heard of some of these legendary clashes. if yall want to hear them just let me know.
