You think Spurrier wanted the Bama job and now that he did not get it he is bitter about it?

I think Spurrier probably could have had the Bama job if he wanted it but he was determined to prove that he could take a traditional loser program and turn it into a winner which he has done to some degree but not to the level he was hoping for. He was envisioning people telling him he was the greatest coach of all time after leading USCe to a NC. Now it's pretty obvious that'll never happen and he's bitter about it. To top it off, he's had to watch Saban win three out of the last five NCs and stealing any thunder he might have gained in turning the cocks around.

Therefore, he feels the intense need to try to undermine Saban at every turn. He's a freaking douche and always has been and anyone who admires him and his childish bullshite has a bit of douchery in themselves. Just my opinion.

Which, btw, explains why the average gator fan still has a hardon for the guy, even though he's taken a huge p*ss into their collective bowl of Wheaties since he's been back in the SECE.

You're a fricking moronic idiot. Spurrier isn't saying anything that the rest of the nation isn't saying. Your coach is a pussy, and now everyone sees it except your fan base... but that doesn't surprise me when you have a fan base full of updykes, tea baggers and violent women who can't contain themselves at a football game.

What's really pitiful is that you actually believe this...

if anyone hasn't figured out Spurrier, it's pretty simple. he's candid, unvarnished, and doesn't give a crap about what people think about him. he's said before that he doesn't have many close friends in coaching (except for B. Stoops) but he's friends with people that he may mock. like Fulmer & Dabo. i imagine he and Saban are cordial at SEC meetings, but like the HBS, Nick not the member-at-large for the coaching fraternity either. He seems to only hang out w/ those in the top branches of the Belichick tree.

anyway, i think Spurrier feels he could have won 3 NCs at Bama too because the program has a foundation and resources like no other. he has stated that what he's accomplished at SC was harder than winning a NC at Bama, which i think is true. but i don't he's out to undermine Saban, he's just being Spurrier which is being brutally honest. he's goal isn't to just win the SEC or NC, but to win it at SC which will immortalize him in gold for eternity. they only way Saban get in the way of his goal is when they play head-to-head.

So you seem to know everything in Spurriers head. The only people advocating this rule are Bama fans who would want to get rid of the forward pass if Saban wanted to. Did you have a sit down talk with the HBC where he expressed these feelings to you. Spurrier leaves about as envious of a life as anyone I can think of, but keep calling him bitter. While you're doing that read your post and see who sounds bitter as frick.
