Correct. He took the job because he had just failed miserably in the NFL and it was the best college job available to him at the time.
And the Redskins have had so much success since he left. Daniel Snyders problem, HBC did not want to deal with it.

I guess we can chalk you up as part of the douche crowd, huh.
What I posted hasn't got a thing to do with Saban or the part he is playing in this proposed rule change. Personally, I don't agree with it. Do I think the HUNH is chickenshit football? Yeah I do but that's beside the point. Trying to change the rule was going to draw an obvious reaction from the general public and Saban should have seen that before hand. Now he looks like a whiny bitch. Period.
Let's just forget about that for a minute though. Spurrier has conveniently overlooked the fact that Bert is pushing for this rule change harder than Saban is. Can you guess why genius? Aww hell, I'll go ahead and tell you. It's because by bringing Bert into the discussion, it takes away from the criticism that the OLD ball coach is directing at Saban. Do you know who calls out colleagues in national publications? Douches. You know who doesn't see anything wrong with that? Douches.

I guess that's up to each individual to interpret. Personally, I don't see much of a difference.

The word douches perfectly describes you and your fan base. And yes, your coach is a whiny arse bitch and a pussy.

Therefore, he feels the intense need to try to undermine Saban at every turn. He's a freaking douche and always has been and anyone who admires him and his childish bullshite has a bit of douchery in themselves. Just my opinion.
if anyone hasn't figured out Spurrier, it's pretty simple. he's candid, unvarnished, and doesn't give a crap about what people think about him. he's said before that he doesn't have many close friends in coaching (except for B. Stoops) but he's friends with people that he may mock. like Fulmer & Dabo. i imagine he and Saban are cordial at SEC meetings, but like the HBS, Nick not the member-at-large for the coaching fraternity either. He seems to only hang out w/ those in the top branches of the Belichick tree.
anyway, i think Spurrier feels he could have won 3 NCs at Bama too because the program has a foundation and resources like no other. he has stated that what he's accomplished at SC was harder than winning a NC at Bama, which i think is true. but i don't he's out to undermine Saban, he's just being Spurrier which is being brutally honest. he's goal isn't to just win the SEC or NC, but to win it at SC which will immortalize him in gold for eternity. they only way Saban get in the way of his goal is when they play head-to-head.

Ok buddy. Incidentally, just so you'll know for future reference, "moronic idiot" is what is called redundant. When you say something like this in regards to someone else, it is what we call ironic. Have a great day.

There should be a 10 minute rule for most posters on this board.

Then the HUNH is exciting football that shows what exactly your team is made up of.

Yeah...I know it's "redundant" but you finally got it...congrats. Sometimes you have to do what it takes...
No problem...You have a great day yourself.

And you are intepreting it as him calling out Saban(whining and complaining, poor bama), he just said his name. That is exactly I would expect you to take the whiney route, just like Saban is doing.

I guess you missed the time when he admitted it.
It really doesn't matter - denial is a self serving drug - so have another dose.

I think it is more of a high functioning idiot. Kind of like being the genius idiot in a room full of idiots.

This is a prime example of the pussification of the Alabama fan base. ...it starts at the top.
