Player safety is a real issue though. Don't know if you've ever played college football level or higher, but playing 60 plays is a long game talk about 90 to 100. That shite wears the body down and the fatigue build is where you'll possibly get hurt.
To be honest, I don't even care for the rule. I think there is a lot of hypocrisy though. Whenever they are changing rules for offense it is all good but God forbid they throw the defense a bone.

If it wasn't such a big advantage there wouldn't be this response. You can tell these guys don't think they'll be able to compete without it... well until they find the next offensive loophole.

That's nonsense. The response has been because 1) Saban and Bielema snuck in the back door to make their case and nobody else even had a clue this was happening, and 2) they're making this about player safety, which is ludicrous.
