The No. 11 ranking is one spot down from last week's No. 10 ranking for Alabama. The Crimson Tide men's team began 24th in the preseason rankings before moving to 17th one week later and up to 10th in last week's survey.

Hopefully they have a good showing this weekend and continue to climb in the rankings.

I don't know a lot about track. When's the big meet and when will Marlon join the team?

Aren't Track & Field separate from Cross Country?
T&F runs in the spring and XC runs in the fall.

Posted in the mega but this is a better place for it.
The great thing about that time is he would have finished 8th at last years NCAA Indoor T&F with that time. A top 8 that included 4 seniors, 2 juniors, and 1 sophomore with better times. Not bad for a kid who is just recently started on hurdles 3 inches higher than what he has been running on for the past 4 years.
In regards to his performance and thinking not a big deal because the UA T&F program has been subpar, well interesting note. The current record for fastest time in the SEC Championship indoor meet was set in 2002 by a senior from UA, Ron Bramlet with a time of 7.52. He also won multiple NCAA championships in track outside as well in hurdlers. His 1st 3 three years after leaving UA he was ranked in the top 10 in world. Some if TB and MH are go on to break hurdle records at UA, it only means the program will be one of the best in the country.

Another interesting note for TB's time. His latest time would have placed him 4th last year in the SEC indoor championships final. That alone would have moved UA from 7th to 5th place as a team and bumped down LSU to 6th overall.
