Looking at that list none of those players have shown Auburn would have been better off with them. There's no way to know now if Evans won't be the same way in a few years.

Agreed. The drama queens we have lost to Bama haven't really hurt us. I have a feeling the trend continues.

I know how the recruiting game is played; I'm far from naive on that. However, let's not sit around and claim an 18 year old kid fricked with a coaching staff on his own accord for shits and giggles.

What about his dad?

Understandable, considering he lied to the staff...

Oh well, life goes on. We ended with an outstanding class.

Figured I'd check in now, see if I need to melt down or not.

Looks like we had a pretty decent NSD. Biggest thing to me is we picked up good players at every position. Good QB, RB, DT, DE, LB, FS, WR, and CB. The JUCOs help put some punch into the middle of our grades instead of all the talent being true freshies, but hopefully we can move away from the JUCO route unless there's a special player there.

Hope to see better WR play next year once Nick and the gang have some time to work on route timing and develop a feel for each other.

Oh and Evans can EAD.

I actually wouldn't mind taking 2-3 JUCOs a year in the future.

I don't know if he lied to the coaches or not. But inviting those two Auburn commits to the announcement and then committing to their rival was just bush league. I can't help to believe that they would not have been there if they had known or if they hadn't been lied to or led on.

I haven't wanted that POS since Saturday, and I didn't start paying attention to recruiting until last week.
