likely but the sec has a history of missing calls against uk. I can live with that as long as the sec fines the grease ball.
However the push was important, the player was cutting the wrong direction before cal shoved him into place. If you have played so much basketball you would understand what a difference spacing makes. there is a major difference in cutting and getting to the corner vs cutting and popping back to a spot somewhere between where he started and the corner. If the uk player isn't in the right spot either the pass is going out of bounds or the d is closer and will have a easier time closing out. so yes coming on to the court and shoving a kid into position impacts the game. It might be a small one but it has a impact. He also had to shove him because yelling at the kid wasn't working.

So coaches should be allowed to go on the court and push players into position?
That's your argument?

Every coach gets out of the box. Physically moving a player is clearly over the line. It's really not debatable. But I don't really care because we skullfricked Kentucky last night.

LSU skullfricking Kentucky is clearly more important than this

jesus you're dumb
I never said it wasn't against the rules or should have been called a tech
I just don't know why everyone is so pissed off about it
it was a missed call that had very little impact on the game

exactly, getting out of the box happens in every game with every coach. That would be silly to bitch about, but actually physically moving one of your players doesn't happen every game.
people acting like shoving a player is no different than yelling

It happens. The great teams such as duke, uk, michigan st, have earned benefit of the doubt whether its right or wrong.

I have a feeling that the people supporting Cal in this thread or only doing so because its against LSU and this is the SECrant.
either that or they're borderline retarded. especially the people that are saying they see it "all the time"

I'm willing to there were multiple missed calls during this game that had more impact than this call, probably some that favored LSU

You really don't know basketball at all.
My argument is that whether Cal pushes the player or not, the player still makes the cut freeing up the three pointer and LSU still goes on to win.

It definitely tells you which posters are trolls and which posters are actual basketball fans

Lots of dumbasses on here. Cal was on the court half the game when lsu was on offense near the uk bench. It was not just that one play why people are complaining about this.

This X1000. Im not saying it was right, but calls are missed throughout the game, and this call played no more role on the game than a missed foul or walk. Get over it, you won.

Well missed calls happen. This is a little different. Comparing it to normal missed calls is a little funny.
