Alabama was 6-0 in conference. Where did you get 7-0?
You don't count opponents just because they are in your conference nor do you not count opponents because they not in your conference. You only count "conference games".
In 1981, Alabama played a non-conference game against Ole Miss. That wasn't a conference game.

Your links have incorrect information. For example, they have North Carolina as an SEC opponent for Georgia in 66.

No, Georgia went 6-0.

Kentucky went 4-2.
No, Kentucky went 5-1 after being awarded a forfeit win.
Whereever your getting your information is letting you down.

The links show EXACTLY what you find in the SEC media guide. Where ever you're getting your information is letting you down (I see you refused to answer that).

North Carolina has never been in the SEC and have been in the ACC since 63.
Sorry kttfan, but you're wrong again.

You're not listening. Just because a team is not in your conference, does not mean that wasn't a "conference" game. It was common practice to assign a non-conference opponent as a "conference game". The North Carolina game was a "conference game", hence is it is shown as a conference game.

Your ignorance is showing.
The SEC has it as a conference game, that makes it a conference game, regardless of what you say.

So North Carolina was in the SEC in 66?

Does anyone else find this to be completely retarded?

He posts as kttfan on Rivals and is constantly pimping his site as "better" than others.

You're still not listening. Because a game is played against a team not in your conference does not automatically mean it was not a conference game.
The North Carolina game was designated by the SEC as a conference game and counted in the conference record, which is why they list Georgia at 6-0.

Sigh, idiots will be idiots.
If you didn't want the answer, why ask the question?

During that time didnt Alabama frequently schedule OOC games against the weaker SEC teams?

Indeed. And Georgia received as much credit as UK, they were named SEC co-champs.

So y'all were retroactively awarded a title?
Posted on 1/22/14 at 9:59 pm to Korin
Who knows. The sport used to be on drugs. The 3-way tie rules in some conferences would be based on which school had the longest Conference Championship drought. shite was fricked. Even well into the 1990s.

LSU was co-champs in 1988 we were recognized
Just like Ole Miss was West Co Champs in 03, and we were recognized.
