Is this football, the big 3 or all sports combined?

I'm not counting wins or championships when just a bunch of skinny white dudes played. It's not like baseball where AA's make a small % of the game. Black males dominate the sport, and counting stats your team did in the 40's is laughable.

I'm probably wrong on this, but the SEC didn't have full integration until 72.

Rankings are not science. They depend on the somewhat subjective list of factors chosen and the weighting used. LINK

I like it since LSU is ranked second among SEC teams.

Also, I believe Auburn has the highest winning percentage against Bama than anyone else in the SEC (except maybe A&M, but they don't count).

Actually UT has a .431 winning percentage vs bama. Auburns percentage is .415.

UT has beat bama more than any other school with 37 wins. Auburn has 29.

You almost had me til # 2 on the list. Historically? WTF has LSU done in SEC folklore?

This title is screwed..no timeline given (im ok with dat..since Im older), we have to sssume a lot of things...like what sport? Headlines in newspapers? Heismans?

Flash back to early 1950s and up until early 1960s and Ga Tech was a powerhouse. UGA in the 1940s (while the rest of the SEC sent real men to fight the war) Ole Miss was a powerhouse program during 1950s to early 1960s with Johnny Vaught as HC.

1960s Bama, Ole Miss,
1850s Ga Tech, UT

One thing about AU when people try to do these rankings and look at win percentage, bowls, etc is strength of schedule is rarely factored in which is AUs forte.

There was an analysis 2-3 years ago that was super impressive for AU. It showed AU has played the toughest schedule of any SEC school both overall and within the conference.

If you really give AU credit for playing tougher competition than any other sec schools, you get to where AU is number 2 or 3 historically.

Historically AU played Uga, UF, Tenn, and Bama every year and lsu pretty often.

Additionally UK and Vandy, the two weakest teams in the sec are two of the ones AU has least played.

Must be a lot of teenagers in here. UF was an SEC doormat, for the most part, until Spurrier became HC. A&M and Mizzou have to be the last two, just because their "SEC history" is two years old.
