These are the shitty losses we need to replace you.

I hate how little A&M fans know/care about basketball.

If you're referring to me, then you don't know what the frick you're talking about.

Talk to me. What did you take away from today's game?

The refs didn't help our cause but we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Going to need a lot more than the occasional loss.

If that was aimed at me I had season tickets from Barone to BCG. Take it easy, everyone is just frustrated.

Looking at a 3-5 conference record after January.

3-5 would require at we lose @USC. I don't see that happening, especially since they just lost their leading scorer. I also think there's a >50% chance that we beat Vanderbilt at home. They aren't a very good team.

At this point I'm betting we finish in the 8-10 to 10-8 range. We're probably going to be on the NIT bubble when all is said and done. Hooray for progress.

I'll spot you the road games at Florida and Kentucky, but...

You're predicting that A&M will lose to Vandy @home and @USCe?

That seems like a tall order. I'm afraid that this team is not the dumpster fire you had hoped for, nor are we a tournament team.

I was hoping that Kennedy would definitively end the debate in one fashion or another, but it appears that I won't get my wish.

It appears BK's job is gonna be on the bubble as well. Honestly hoping we don't make it so we don't waste another year hoping something will change.

I was counting on today as a win.

That's pretty negative, but I can see where you're coming from. Hell, I'm probably in the same boat.

I think it's fairly clear at this point that Kennedy doesn't have a particularly high ceiling. So the question in my mind is, would I rather see A&M be an NIT bubble team for a few more years (maybe get in a few of them, including this year) or I would I rather miss it this year and then get a coach that would give us a legit shot at the NCAA tournament starting next year?

I think I'd rather get the pain out of the way now. Best case for this squad is we slip into the NIT and maybe win 1-2 games, so it's not like we'd be missing much.

There's enough evidence demonstrating that Kennedy is a bad coach for me to think we need to make the move.
