Keep up the good work

I just wanted to say that I am proud of everyone here for carving out a corner of the internet where we can actually talk football and A&M in general without being humorless OR mindless.
It seems that our options have previously been numerous pay sites milking subscriptions or the "big A&M board" we all know where no meaningful discussion takes place. Over the years, guys have tried starting free sites with the idea of good community and discussion but they never got enough traffic and you ended up talking to yourself.
Anyhow, it seems we have a good mix here - from T-bird, who is the coolest guy on the entire meta-rant/droppings webverse, to tmc94, who is obviously some species of well-connected insider, but isn't a dick about it. I'm just trying to say keep it up, and keep coming here. Let's not let this die. The past few years I haven't had a decent place online to rationally talk Aggies without paying for it, and that has sucked.

Agreed. Could never stand TA. Actual sports talk here. Very enjoyable.

I would like to see this place continue to grow, and the group we have right now helping to keep this thing afloat is amazing.
There's going to be trolls and alters, but hey, it's the internet, that's gonna happen. And the better problem to have is a place where trolls are trying to get in, not the other way around.

to the OP, I agree Cooter. It's a nice little forum and hopefully it stays that way. Tbird and WCA do a good job keeping it a good place to be and I certainly appreciate their efforts

No, I think you are correct. What gives it away besides the ten threads started over on tRant is him double spacing all of his posts. He also always complains about the A&M posters calling everyone an alter. I really wish he would just chill, he could do just fine on this board if he wouldnt get so worked up.
Oh well, can't let someone like that mess up this good thing we have going.
