Not surprised. He was a stud for UGA. Wish Pruitt had been around to coach that 2012 defense. We might well have won the NC instead of coming up short in the SECCG.

Que the negadawgs to say he wasn't that good for us.

Well, I do wish he would have been on the field more, and not suspended.

Yep, we could say that for a lot of our better players including A.J. Green.

I will always remember him for this.

Agreed, but that's not their complaint.

I'll always remember him going into Usain Bolt mode with that blocked kick from the SECCG. For that moment I thought...damn....we're going to win this.

I planned on making the four mile run to the Chapel Bell after that play because I was sure we'd win.

I remember that as well. My hopes were high and I thought we were going to win as well.

Has Jarvis Jones not produced enough this year to make that list?
Posted on 1/15/14 at 7:58 pm to S1C EM
I think he was injured for a few games. He did not get as much playing time as I thought he would either.

Jarvis lost his starting spot for a couple of games if I am not mistaken

I havent' done any research but Ogletree in my eyes was a much better prospect. Elite speed and quikness. Jarvis had good initial burst and nice pass rushing skills but Ogletree blows up on film. Sounds about right to me.

Is he back in it?

No not yet, but I doubt the Steelers will be able to keep Worilds and Woodley next season so Jarvis will end up starting by default. IMO the main reason he was benched because he was atrocious in pass coverage.
That was in November but he had his best game of the season against the Browns week 17

“He’s just not doing enough detail work right now and Jason Worilds is,” Tomlin said of Jones. “That’s the reality of it. There is more detail in Worilds’ work right now than Jarvis.”- Mike Tomlin
