I can't find much positive from this outside of the fact that it might have just put the final nail in McGarity & CMR's coffin.
They haven't made many smart choices lately and doubt they start now in the next selection.

I go to church, take a nap, eat dinner, then wake up to this great news.
I'm shocked. I though we would be stuck with that fat frick until Richt left.
Well time to go get drunk and party over this!!! 
Hopefully we can land Smart. But I'd not be surprised if he decided to stay at Alabama. Still regardless of who we hire this is a good day no one could do as badly as Grantham has for us....... well unless Richt is a fricking idiot and re-hire Willie Martinez.
