Get over it. We went from winless in Sec to winning sec and bcsncg. Not to mention 2 games that will live in auburn lore forever

I've never been so upset about a loss.
We had the game.
I know we went 3-9 to sec champs and in the bcs title game but god dammit. The last few nights I would be thinking about what could of been that kept me up. Pretty bad but I'll get over it

It is a difficult game to get over if you think about it all the time. I have chosen to stop analyzing the game and thinking about the what ifs.
It is over and all the analyzing I do won't change a damn thing. So I'm done and I am doing well. It also helped that I had a few days of annual meetings starting the day after the game.

Lanier I understand your pain. What has helped me is remembering how I felt at the end of last year, and how much better this year was. .....oh, and alcohol, lots of alcohol.

It is over, and it ain't changing. But given we return a lot of these same players on offense and probably NM stays at QB and we continue with that system it is kind of interesting to look at what went wrong.
Now had we won, we wouldn't look at this crap and FSU would look at their plethora of problems.
But chew on this, FSU (JW) was 3/12 and averaging 3.6 yds/attempt prior to the fake punt. After the fake punt, 17/23 for 8.4 yards per attempt. Rushing remained the same before and after at around 4.8/4.9 yards per attempt.
So JW went from 25% to 74% and more than doubled yards per pass attempt.
I think just as most analysts have said and Jimbo himself, Auburn stops that fake punt and takes over in FSU territory, 28-3 at the half. That would've been the game. We had the person in place to stop it but they pursued the ball and got bit on the reverse.
The special teams issues were shocking. Allowing a team to march 60-80 yards with 1 minute to go was not surprising at all, just disappointing.
