I don't think it'd be a bad choice. Saban would muzzle him, so he wouldn't be in the public mouthing off, I don't think.

The Internet will physically break if Nick Saban hires Lane Kiffin. Like you'll go to Google and lava pours out of your screen.

I would think all of the SEC fanbases except the one that hires him would laugh.

Didn't he get fired from USC bc his team sucked but his offense sucked worse?

I think he is another good recruiter but poor gameday coach on your staff. OL took a step back and didn't adjust in game this year with Cristobal. Can't argue with the formula though, its worked quite well to this point.

I think it could be a great fit. Kiffin needs to rehab his image, he's still very young, Saban is clearly in charge and he could focus on offense. He can also recruit like a motherfricker although not sure if he has a lot of ties down here. Honestly anyone laughing at this isn't thinking it through.

I knew the decline would eventually come. Kiffin will expedite the process.

It's a big risk regardless. Why does the best program of this era need to take a crazy risk like that?

the best coach in football isn't going to gamble like that.

One thing for sure is that he'd piss off everyone else in the league.
