You boys have surely gotten good at whistling past graveyards. Y'all just don't worry about what's going on in Tuscaloosa, and continue to bathe in your nearly-achieved glory. You'll be having to come to T-town sooner than you want to.
When AU has a good team, they do not fear going to T-town. It is almost like having a home field advantage.

Now if y'all can just get the part about not "worrying about what's going on in Tuscaloosa" down, folks won't think that you're so afraid (a.k.a. whistling past the graveyard) of Alabama....and maybe won't look upon you as our "little sister", because we really don't want a little sister.

It is amazing how 1 second changed the perspective of the rivalry. AU fans do not have to "whistle past the gaveyard" after they saw what Gus was able to do with a former DB and a team that went 3-9. Imagine what he will be able to do once he gets his style of players in place.

"His style of player", eh?
Guys that were tailor-made for his system like K. Frazier?
I'm terrified.

For every K Frazier their has been a Cam Newton and Nick Marshall. Jeremy Johnson will be the next player you are not afraid of.

I guess after the 49-0 and 42-14 games, the Auburn folks must be giddy over this year's win, but get real and look at the big picture. If y'all are actually serious about closing the "reputation" gap, you'd be wise to concentrate on the program in Auburn, Alabama, and not the one in Tuscaloosa. Seriously, when y'all are constantly posting about Alabama and not your own team, it's obvious that there's a problem with your thinking. If you don't want to be little sister, don't act like little sister.

I'm sure the stars will align again like the did in '10/'13. Great line play and a breakout performance by a RB is really nice.
Jeremy Johnson? The kid from Montgomery? Can you link me to his Frontline feature?

We are concentrating on Auburns Program, but it is fun watching the "Dynasty" tear itself apart from within.

Stars aligning every three years with a great OL play and break performance by a RB. Same line is back next year(with depth) and one 1000 yard rusher returns and two with over 600 yards rushing. What is your excuse next year if the stars align again ?

Graduates in May. Must graduate from FSU in order to play without sitting for a year.

I just thought this was one of the dumbest comments i'd ever read until I continued reading down the page. Gus was only gone for a season... who the hell is his style of player if they aren't already on the team? It's not like the cupboard was bare.

Also was an All-State basketball player at St Paul's and by all accounts faster more elusive etc than Winston but not a run first guy, but he's got wheels and a live arm that's for sure. Again like I said should've definitely been a take
So he runs better than Winston, has as big of an arm as Jamarcus. He obviously can't be as dumb as Winston see WE STRONG DEN. Sounds like a lot of hype for a guy that didn't win the job.

Chizik totally change the makeup of the Offense in that one year that Gus was gone. He wanted a large OL with TEs and power running style. He tried to follow what bama and LSU were doing. The biggest coaching job Gus did was getting those who were casted away by Loeffler to beleive in themselves. Cupboard was not bare, but it had to be transformed. This is the first time in Gus's career he can coach a returning starting QB and not have to wait to the end of the season to have all his Offense in place.

Kevin Norwood, a senior WR on the 2013 Alabama squad, did a radio interview today. He talked about the strengths and weaknesses of the 2014 Alabama team, who looks to step up, and a major hint on who the next QB of Alabama might be:
He talked about the QBs currently on the team before adding, "Then you have the guy coming in from Florida State."

Actually if you read more, Sanders basically said the best QB doesn't always win the competition but the one who will least divide the team LOSES !!!!
Read between the lines, J.W. losing the QB competition would have divided the team.
JW played 1 SEC team and looked average.
LOL... So y'all kicked AU out of the SEC for losing to us or UF?

Why didn't Coker play over Trickett?
