I love Tre. He apologized to the Auburn fans for not bringing home the title. He said he let everyone down.

fricking love Tre. He has no reason to apologize. He never gave up last year or any year he was here. He is an Auburn legend. I wish him well in the NFL. shite just did not go our way.

quote:It's amazing how little national post-season recognition he got. At least he was invited to NYC...hate it for him that he didn't get more. Luckily the Draft doesn't give a frick about awards.

Agree. He was a beast all year. I wished he had made that run with 19 seconds left instead of 1:19.

Did he break Bo's record tonight?
Posted on 1/7/14 at 2:08 am to The Nino
Rushing yardage in a single season. He had like 1620 going into the game and ran for 195. I'm pretty sure Bo had a little less than 1800 in 85

Bo (1985) had 1786 yards in 12 games
Tre (2013) had 1816 yards in 14 games
So it appears Tre did break that record

Ugh, first time watching Tre's presser. Feel so bad for him. Pretty evident he isn't coming back.
On a sidenote, apparently Dismukes told a reporter he's coming back for his Senior season.
GR on his future:

Sound's like he's gone too. I don't blame either Tre or Greg for going pro.
I've been looking over twitter from last night and a lot of the players seem a bit upset which is understandable. They all sound like they're ready to get right back to work. If we can play with the mean streak we had on defense in the first half for all of next season then this team will be nasty. I really think that was a taste of things to come.

I will always love this team. No one will ever forget what they did or the turnaround they had this season. They played their hearts out but came up a little bit short in the end—it happens. Congrats to former Auburn man Jimbo Fisher and FSU. Looking forward to the 2014 season. War Eagle!

First, love this team. They gave me-us, some of the happiest moments of my life as an Aubie. They brought us back from last year's awful season, gave us memories for forever and I really think captured the heart of the college football world as much as any sec team can right now.
Second this loss hurt. Real bad. It wasnt for a lack of commitment, effort, intensity, or desire. This team gave all they had and wanted it bad. As a fanbase we gave back all we had to them as well. We had all the chances in the world. So many plays that could have given us stranglehold on the game and really could have knocked FSU out. We just didn't make that one play we needed and it will always stick with us and the players. Just the way it is when it is that close.
Nothing to be ashamed of, no reason to not love this team forever and all the pride and heart they played with but the loss will always sting.
