Maybe I'm just looking for something that isn't there with the FSU interview responses, but they sure do talk a big game. Do they come off as arrogant or just confident to you guys? Watch the video for yourself and share your thoughts.

Just beat Florida States arse. My boss is a huge FSU fan and insufferable as hell, whether FSU is 12-0 or 7-5.

I don't know that I've EVER wanted Auburn to win anything. I hope Auburn is up 100-0 and scores on the last play of the game with no time remaining then goes for 2 to seal the win.
I REALLY don't want to hear how the SEC is on the decline BS. Ole Miss currently has the #14 recruiting class in the country and is 8th in the conference and 5th in the West Division!!!!

Reminds me of when we played Miami in 92, they were talking all kinds of shite before the game and we all saw how that turned out.

I actually think Winston seemed the least cocky on that video, which is saying a lot.
Telvin Smith jumped the shark when he bragged about the "tests" FSU overcame this year in Maryland, Boston College, Clemson, and Florida.

I watched both pressers earlier. I didn't get the impression the FSU was giving AU any respect. Quotes like the one in the OP as well as Jameis stating multiple times today that they just wanted AU to give them a decent game were pretty telling. These guys have no idea what they are in for come Monday.
Mike Bellotti said earlier that his impression of AU was that they knew they had to play even better than they have been playing to win. Also said his impression of FSU was that they didn't feel they needed to do anything differently to win. I took that to mean he got the impression that they felt they didn't need to elevate their game.

Auburn has been bigger underdogs than this a few times this season and won.9 points isn't too big of a spread really.

I was actually put off by Bellotti's comments. I thought he was saying that whereas FSU seemed loose and ready to play "their game", Auburn was somehow uptight and needing to play better than in any game they have all year. Bellotti seemed pretty infatuated with FSU to me.

Not just this year, but AU has quite a history of knocking off top ranked teams and usually flourishes in the role of the big underdog.
