Tonight at 6pm (ct) on ESPNU the ags face their first real challenge at the Toyota center in h-town, where the trunks keep poppin' and the tops keep droppin'. Do we win, or do we Kennedy?

I think we lose.

I'm thinking Oklahoma gets off to a shaky start but rebounds to blow us out.

Oklahoma by 6-8.

We saw what happened the last time we played outside of Reed against a team without key player(s).

Apparently Reese did not make the trip to Houston. Brilliant.

So the two teams they lost to weren't "real challenges"?

Neither J'Mych nor his Dad made the trip per the Athletic Department.

Jesus Christ this is embarrassing. All you need to do is play zone against us and you'll win every time.

14 frickING POINTS AT HALF!

IIRC, A&M set a record for longest stretch without a field goal against Oklahoma in 2005. Can they break that tonight?

Well, our defense has been great. Now if we can get the offense to get off the bus, we might have a chance in the 2nd half.

'05? Didn't one of Turge's teams have a ridiculous drought against OU too?

Maybe it wasn't 2005 since Oklahoma had Blake Griffin at that time.

I knew one of Gillespie's teams had an Antarctic day in Norman, but I also thought that one of Turgeon's teams did too.

Our games in recent times vs. the land thieves had more often than not seemed to be a defensive struggle.

All Parkinsons jokes aside, this was spot-on.

I was actually really encouraged by this game. The first half was a dumpster fire, but the Ags came back to make it a respectable game in the 2nd half against a 19 RPI team.

As is usual, Kennedy is getting our players in position to make the shots and then, in the case of our losses, our players can't knock them down. We're not beating anyone with 27% from the field and 9% from three.

If we improve to just 36% shooting from the field, we beat the team with 19 RPI. Let that sink in. This team is far from the bad place that you chicken littles think it is.

RPI is completely meaningless until February.

At one point last season, A&M's RPI was 7.

You mean by the fact that the Aggies still have no way to break a zone defense...or by the fact that no one can hit a three to save his life?

Still blaming the players I see...but I guess it takes 10 years to get "his players" even though you swore up and down he'd have all "his players" in year 3.

The only difference so far between this year and 2011 is a lucky 3 pointer by Jordan Green against Rice. There aren't even a rash of injuries that the Kennedy-philes like you and jorts (I still think you two are one in the same) can use as an excuse. Wait: I GOT IT. Kennedy gets a free pass because of J'Mychal Reese!

The only player left on the roster with any postseason experience is Roberson.

You pretty much guaranteed we'd get beat by OU and now you are pissed we got beat by OU?
