Here is the list, in alphabetical order (by coaches first name). Re-rank them (in your opinion) 1-14 .
IF one or more coaches are too close to call, the coach is too new (the jury is still out), think in terms of which one you would rather have coaching your team next year.
Brett Bielema
Butch Jones
Dan Mullen
Gary Pinkell
Gus Malzahn
Hugh Freeze
James Franklin
Kevin Sumlin
Les Miles
Mark Richt
Mark Stoops
Nick Saban
Steve Spurrier
Will Muschamp

Percentage of SEC championships won at current job
Malzahn 100% (1/1)
Saban 29% (2/7)
Miles 29%(2/7)
Richt 14%(2/14)
None of the other coaches have captured a conference title at their current school.

All in all, there's really not a terrible coach in this league. I put them into several groups. The coaches in that group could be easily interchanged with one another.

1. Nick Saban
2. Steve Spurrier
3. Les Miles
4. Gus Malzahn (NC game in 1st year and complete turnaround deserves huge credit IMO; big fan of his)
5. Mark Richt
6. Kevin Sumlin (believe he will climb up this list in the next few years but I am biased obviously)
7. Gary Pinkell
8. James Franklin
9. Will Muschamp
10. Hugh Freeze
11. Brett Bielema (Although it was the Big 10, still had great success)
12. Dan Mullen
13. Butch Jones (Recruiting great but have to see on field results before he moves up; believe he will turn it around)
14. Mark Stoops
Flame away
