I certainly am. First, not much reason about being down on things anyway as the die has been cast. But I think Champ is a competitor that at the end of the day would rather win even if it admits he was wrong about a few things early on.

Am I a sunshine pumper? Anyone else find themselves surprisingly hopeful about it all?

One of my favorite moments in the past three seasons was seeing how many people stayed through the FSU game and kept chanting "It's Great" even though we were getting our asses kicked. There were even a couple thousand who hung out for the Alma Mater and cheered the seniors one last time at the end. I kind of feel like the whole season was a gut check and that maybe a lot of us found that we still really do love this team even when things just blow.

I'm already stoked for next August.

Let's see the OC hire first. As long as we are moving back towards the spread, I think he has his head in the right places.

last year sucked arse, but glad WM made the changes. Looking forward to a better 2014 (and it needs to be better).

I'm starting to doubt that a turn-around is actually possible with our roster and the inability to get a bit time OC. I just don't think Champ gets the big name he may want/need.

Whhhhaaaatttt? Get real man...good times are a comingin 2014. We had a disaster of a year when were snakebit on so many issues with injuries and yet we never were completely blasted...even with a lot of LBs out after mid season...OL playing musical chairs, starting qb out, AA DT out etc etc.

We will have added depth in a lot of spots and even though LB, OL & DL aren't big on numbers..we do have a lot of snaps because of injuries.

Having r/s junior qb will make a difference more than anyone knows. We are getting help at WR to go with Dunbar and Fulwood and just a TE from being lethal on offense. Defense? No question its still our strong suit...but offense will be better overall. 10-2 or 11-1 just book it.

I am optimistic that whatever offense UF fields will be better than this year's offense.

Yes....but who in the living hell could have predicted a season of injuries beyond ANYTHING Ive seen since 1962?

Boom didn't cry about all the injuries...but only an idiot would not realize the extent and the toll it took. Take away those injuries we could have been a 10-2 squad or 9-3 at worse....no matter what offense we had (although its pretty clear a starting qb going down early hurt us badly) I watched the girls school intently...unlike some casual fans who look at actions on the field without dissecting the inter plots going on. We had held the girls school to MINUS 2 yds rushing with 6 minutes to go in the first half...but watching the game I knew what was coming...we had the same defensive players out on the field for way too many snaps with only a few breathers. I watched Fowler & Co chase Winston sideline to sideline a few times and they were gassed...but hardly any help from depleted bench. We at least didn't play a walk on at LB most of game like we did against Ga Southern...but we had no depth and a starter (Kitchen) playing with shoulder pain.

Yea...I did say book it last year but you need to get the real picture focused my reptile friend.

I am. It's not too much to ask for an average offense. I think we can do that.
