Anyone believe he's back next year or is he gone. He's been great for the rebels but with a mediocre year this past year I think Adaboy or Pack, especially if he's as advertised, can step in and have just as much of an impact. I know he drew a lot of attention but he had a ton of wtf drops. Really a letdown year for him imo. 80/20 he leaves. What say you?

Seriously wonder how many times this thread has been started since August

90/10 he stays. He won't get taken above the third round after the year he has had. He needs to come back after dropping so many damn balls.

I think he may come back just because this is a deeper WR class. I would put it at 60/40 he stays. When you have a kid it changes things. That's the only reason I put it at 40% he leaves.

He'll probably be the 6th or 7th WR taken unless he just blows up at his pro day and at the combine.
Evans, Watkins, ODB jr, Landry, Matthews and Marqise Lee will all probably go ahead of DM... If Landry and ODB dont declare then the odds of him leaving increase dramatically but all the LSU people seem to think they are gone.

Moncrief looks the part on paper, but he was the 2nd or 3rd best WR weapon this season, and that doesn't even include Engram.
Outside of the 2012 LSU game (where he had some drops) and the 2012 Egg Bowl, I can't think of any games he was NFL worthy.
If he's smart, he returns.

If he's smart he goes. As a football player you have earning potential for a very small window of time and with the new rookie wage scale it's now the second contract that makes you lots of money. Therefore him staying in college is counterproductive to his wallet as opposed to going and getting a year closer to that second contract. Plus he's already had a second round grade. He's gone.

Doesn't he have a kid too? I thought I read that somewhere.

Yes I didn't include that because most here knew that I assumed. Just reinforces the necessity to maximize his earning potential.

He just started dating a Freshman girl from my town. She's pretty so I doubt he leaves her so soon.

Good point. NFL players usually have difficulty getting women.
