I hate to even write these words, but: Sporting KC. The soccer championship game was on at the same time as the SEC Championship.

If you want facts and aren't attempting to troll:
Local TV ratings for Saturday in KC. Mizzou got a 18.5 rating on CBS, Sporting KC pulled a 4.3 on ESPN, and kU Basketball a 1.8 on ESPN2.

It's not rocket science man, Kansas City had a pro team playing for a title at the exact same time as the SEC championship. Both games were nationally televised and a good part of the KC population was at the game or out watching it.
And how often does Kansas City have teams competing for championships?

Honestly, this doesn't surprise me at all.
The media and half the football fan base still extremely butt hurt over our move to the SEC.
I feel sorry for our fellow Tigers up in KC. Not sure that town will ever fully embrace the SEC.
