Hole up one minute. Construction in Texas is 100,000,000,000,000x better than MS.

Now back to the OP. 9/10 coming from an aggie. From LSU or MSU fan it would have been 4/10.

A&M fan probably shouldn't be comparing college towns. All CS is a large size Starkville.

Whatever. No one is asking you to like CS. At least we have the capital to be rapidly expanding and improving.

Who gives a shite if College Station has more people? It still blows. There's are plenty of reasons that Oxford is considered one of the nation's best college towns, and it's smaller size is definitely one of them.

i am absolutely NOT an ole miss fan...(but i'm married to one ) that being said, Oxford may be a one horse town, but it's a damn nice one-horse town that's growing...

For a legit answer, you should probably stay somewhere in Midtown. You Agggies will fit right in. Places to go, Underground Atlanta for shopping, Bulldogs for nighlife, and Magic City if you want a strip club. Oh, and don't worry, MARTA will take you everywhere you need to go.

Solid advice. I would also recommend a night time stroll through Pittsburgh if they have the time.

If you want restaurant recommendations I would suggest just using Eater Atlanta. I am assuming you are not a broke student though.

Ironically, this thread reminds me of that anti gay-bullying campaign:

Not legit, but some of the advice was to get you murdered.

Nah, I figured there would be at least one person who would correct me.

The corps is a tiny <1% of our massive student body, and are an easy target for ridicule (a lot of it deserved). But they don't represent the vast majority of Aggies.

True, but it's a part of the TAMU identity. Sorta like how greeks are in the minority at Ole Miss, but the fraternity and sorority scene is still a huge part of the Ole Miss identity.
