Assuming JG is 100% healthy, how much better would JG have to be for our staff to burn his medical redshirt?

ETA: Definitely meant to post this on the Auburn board

Wouldn't this be better on the AU board?

Saban burned a CBs redshirt in the SEC championship game, 2001 or 2003, I believe.

I have no idea who that is and what position he plays but IMO, if he can add something positive to the team in the National Championship game, why not play him? Everyone's goal is to win the Natty so when you have the chance, go 110%. But again, I'm not familiar with the situation.

Got injured during fall camp. According to our coaching staff reports, he arguably was the best defensive player we had leading up to the season. He played the star position now occupied by Robenson Therezie
