I would rather Alabama play Oregon. They would absolutely destroy them, putting to rest any notion that Oregon can hang with a top flight SEC team. That would also give SEC teams the benefit of the doubt against Oregon in the polls next year.
We've already demonstrated that Oklahoma and Ohio State are not match for the SEC. Oregon should be next.

Nah, if that's the case then LSU and auburn both had their foots on Oregon's throat, I'd rather see bama crush urban Meyer... We destroyed them but Oregon has had their more recently (consecutively).

Instead Oregon will curb stomp a bad Texas team and will get hyped going into next year.
