Baylor won their conference because Oklahoma State lost their rivalry game late versus Oklahoma. A team that was defeated 49-17 against the only Top 10 opponent they faced should not be in the playoff.
Florida State
Auburn
Michigan State
Alabama

Alabama and Ohio State's losses aren't even comparable. Ohio State's resume isn't better than Alabama's. The 49-17 loss to Oklahoma State and awful performance versus TCU should eliminate Baylor from consideration.

Baylor would not make it....they were absolutely destroyed by Oklahoma St.

Their two rb's Seastrunk and Martin didn't play that game.

Those guys don't play defense though. Baylor gave up 440 yards passing and 600 yards. Baylor also nearly blew it vs. a mediocre TCU the next week. They are a fraud, and only Big 12 Champs bc Okie St. choked vs. OU.

Why should Auburn jump all the way up to #2 for beating #1...but Michigan St. can't jump to #3 after beating #2??
Auburn was #4 before beating #1 and #5 on consecutive weeks to move up to #2
Michigan State came in to this weekend #10 and while they beat #2....most people felt tOSU was overrated and not truly the #2 team in the country. I think there at least 10 other teams in the country that I would put money on over Ohio State.

Incorrect, but not exactly surprising.

Not saying that they would've won but the game would be a lot closer.

It's kind of surprising that more people aren't mentioning Stanford.
It would be hard for me to decide between Stanford and Michigan St.
However, for how many people on this board always pointing schedule strength (number quality wins and difficult games) there's really no one who comes close to Stanford in that regard. Not even close.

4th spot is tough to call
Fsu
Bama

Florida State
Auburn
Alabama
Baylor
Alabama would beat Baylor or Michigan State and only lost to the eventual SEC Champion by a last second play.
