When's the next time Vandy beats UGA, UF, and UT in same year?

Again in next 25 years? 50?
All 3 programs happened to be down this year, but won't stay that way for long. Vandy is peaking and loses Jordan Matthews.

They likely will beat UT for awhile so the question is when is the next time they beat UGA and UF in the same year

UT will be much better in the next couple of years. Dooley left the cupboard bare and it's filling up again.

Don't know the answer. Vandy likely takes a step back next year but look for another solid year in 2015. It'll be interesting to see what CJF can do with his own recruits from top 20 recruiting classes as opposed to the top 60 classes he inherited from back-to-back 2-10 seasons.

I don't know about UGA but I think they may beat UF and UT next year.

2014, Vandy is now Big3e

Is James Franklin coaching Washington in this scenario?

I think their window will close within about 2 or 3 years. If they don't do it again by then, I don't think it'll happen in another 30+ years.

Schedule says we play them all again next year...

I think the window is just opening. (If our last two recruiting classes are the best we've had and those guys are either redshirting or getting initial action now, I don't think our current talent level is maxed out.) It may get stuck a little next season, but there's still a long time before we've raised the window as high as it will go.

Unfortunately, the window doesn't really depend on vandy, it depends on the other 3. I know they're getting better, and that's fine, but they beat the worst UF team since the 70s and an bad UT team with a first year head coach. UGA is holding on steady, so when those other 2 teams climb out of the dumpster, it's going to be a long, long time before that feat is accomplished again.

Well, yeah, if you assume this is the best Vandy is ever going to be. Too bad for the East that's just not true. Even if Franklin leaves, expectations have been raised. We won't just quietly return to the cellar.

Last 31 years, we're 28-3 - so who's likely to beat whom?

No one is saying that Vandy's expectations haven't been raised. The fact of the matter is that they will never be as consistently good as UGA, UF, UT, and even USCe and Mizzou. Those programs have exponentially more resources and far less academic hurdles to clear.
Like the above poster said, this feat happened in one of Vandy's best years ever while UF and UT were down, and they had to catch some pretty massive breaks both in UGA's health and officials' mistakes to steal the UGA win. I'm not trying to sound bitchy because those are the breaks sometimes, just pointing out that it took a pretty rare combination of factors to allow those three wins to happen.

Depends on how long Franklin stays. If he leaves it could be a while if he doesn't then I think they can repeat the feat fairly soon.

Honestly unless there are significant changes in our gameplan I have doubts we'll beat UT or Vandy next year. I don't think they'll beat Tennessee.

100+ years of history indicate that this last 5 years is the best they've ever been in their history right? They've raised the bar and that's awesome for vandy, but get real, you aren't going to be competing for SEC titles ever.

So expectations are all that matter? I can expect to go undefeated every year but that doesn't make it so. Franklin is the best coach you've ever had, by a long shot IMO. When he leaves you aren't just going to keep on keeping on. People are coming to vandy now because they want to play for franklin, not vanderbilt.
