Contain the run.
Get a big lead early, and force them to start throwing.

Basically, stop the run, score points. Even if they're behind they're going to run the ball. This actually is good for Mizzou, we can sit Matt White and play another Line backer. That's always a good thing.

Make them beat you in the air. Probably easier said than done. Much like Mizzou this year, every week people thought their bubble would burst and each week they kept winning by doing what they do.

Come out and get momentum. You're Defense is solid and you can throw on them. Mizz has to establish the run and win turnovers. AU's special teams must be contained as well.

That, but bring Marshall down immediately too. I've seen a few auburn games, but he's a great runner too.
I'm really looking forward to this game too

I give Auburn all the credit due because they've gotten it done against nearly everyone they've played, but they seem so dang one dimensional you'd think it could be stopped. I'm assuming teams have stacked the box against them all year and they've still gotten it done.

Have control of the ball on the last play of the game . . .

This cannot be overstated. They are the best rushing attack in the nation. And it's not close.

Fundamental football. Don't get cute on offense. Do what you do well. Use the tall recievers and use them OFF the running game. They have a big D-line. I'd pound them early and as often as the score allowed. Use all three backs. Keep fresh legs in there.
Defense, it's the usual. Gap discipline. They have to maintain thier gap responsabilities. Plug the holes and don't let those lineman set the edge. Get off blocks and tackle. Rotate lineman often to keep them fresh. Use some run blitzes.
I think the biggest is to enter the game with alot of energy. They came out extremely flat against aTm and it showed. They were extremely tight. Get a flow for the game and just play, don't overthink, just play.

My biggest fear, far and away, is can Missouri defend the Triple Option.
And ironically, I heard an interview with Gene Stallings today and the host asked him, "How do you defend the Triple Option?" He said you assign one player to the quarterback, one to the fullback, and one to the running back.
So the key question from a fan side is, 1) who draws those three assignments? and 2) how do you deploy the remaining four of the back seven?
Opinions?

This.
An early lead is beyond essential. Allowing them to play the game they want to play will result in a loss.

I'd put the DEs on Marshall. Wilson on he fullback. Bonner on Tre Mason, possibly with help from one of the safeties. Since they don't throw much, you might also get Gaines involved on Mason. Keep Marshall bottled up and don't let him get the edge. JMO. I could be wrong.

Win by Karma:
Here we have a team with a history of wins by incredibly lucky stoopid plays; and a team with a history of losses by, ah, incredibly lucky stoopid plays.
The meeting of two such teams will create a karmic vortex of such intensity as to flip the polarity of luck in the northern hemisphere.
Don't you see? WE CAN'T LOSE!

Stop the run and force them to pass.

Disciplined defense, shut down the option, dare them to throw. Must hit the QB. Obviously, stay in our lanes and tackle well on special teams
