You're stupid. I don't know one lsu fan( I said in the op that we weren't using the blind homers of the fan bases) that thought lsu was gonna win the west. Not one. You need to remember that before the season started our schedule looked hard as hell and bama and A&M's looked easy as shite( Bama's still is to a degree). Lsu east opponents had lost 2 sec games the previous year while Bama's east opponents had won 1 sec game the previous year. This was why no level headed lsu fan was claiming lsu would win the west.

Anybody mentioning LSU is off base by a mile. No national media gave us a chance as it was all TAMU and Bama before the season and some even predicted Ole Miss above us. The first big test we got, we lost and we were never predicted for a BCS game let alone NCG. The majority of the rant predicted 10-2 with losses to UGA and Bama, hell some predicted Ole Miss and UGA. The one thing we can't live with was losing to Ole Miss, AFTER they completely collapsed three games straight and had like 5+ back ups in.
Half were skeptical of the offense, and almost all knew the defense would take a step back. That was the realistic perception of LSU this year.

What is so funny. At the beginning of the season just about every lsu fan had us losing to Uga and bama. It's laughable that you think most lsu fans thought we were winning the west. Like I said , before the season our schedule looked really hard and Bama's looked really east, so therefore unLess you were a huge homer, you weren't expecting to win the west.
