If it took Malzahn 2 all Americans, a QB god, and 2 broken plays to beat a 9-2 Alabama squad by ONE point, then what makes auburn fans think a team with a DB as a QB, a terrible pass offense, and and a porous defense can beat an 11-0 team with a 7 deep running back stable, a QB that has only lost 2 games as a starter, and the deepest receiver corps in the country? Along with an all American linebacker and a stonewall run defense.

Yes I'm aware that's a massive run on. DWI.

ETA: Wasn't a response to Gardevoir. Just the auburn fans.

Because a team with all of this is still miraculously #4 in the BCS with 1 loss in 11 games. Maybe, just maybe, this Auburn team is better than what you've described.

and a stonewall run defense.

I'm not so sure. I don't think Ivory is anywhere near the level that Cody, Chapman and Williams were.
