The entire A&M team didn't show up yesterday, Manziel included. That's on Sumlin. Yeah conditions were crap, but they didn't even seem to try after LSU got up 14-0.

I've been seeing this, but there's a reason for it.
LSU's DBs manned up against that tPOS Evans, checked him at the line and threw off their timing is why they looked off.
They were off because LSU's defense turned them off.

I was in the stadium. Intermittent light showers/mist during the first quarter and then minimal to none the rest of the game; in fact zero the second half.

A Heisman contender should be able to overcome adversity. I saw no fight from Johnny yesterday. It looks like he checked out like Clowney.

Okay, what word would you rather use for the 70% completion percentage and 3 TD's he threw on you guys then?
Either way, it was sure as hell a better showing than what JFF had to offer.

Yep. Especially with the gameplan he was running, which was the worst I've seen from a Sumlin team.

What game should we hold against him then? The Game Manager carved that secondary up.
No. No he didn't.

If JFF wins the Heisman after that shite show yesterday the award will have lost any about of credibility.

I agree to an extent. But like the guy catching the ball on a hop at the 8-yard-line on the kickoff when it was 100% going out of bounds...things like that. LSU's D played a very good game. But aTm did seem off. I'm used to seeing them make great catches, etc. They were dropping some easy ones on the few occasions when they were open.

He's managed to overcome the aTm defense for a while now. You can't do it all by yourself.

I believe this is true. This was the first game that A&M scored less than 41. Unreal.
How much more production should be expected from your QB?

It wasn't held against him last year, so why should this year be any different? Right? Still the best player in CFB. LSU just has his number.

Give him another one. I would love to see a 2x Hesiman winner not beat LSU.

I guess after talking to a lot of A&M fans last night, I just got the impression many were down on him. I told them how I felt- that they should appreciate what he's accomplished, and that a player like this kid just doesn't come around very often.
Despite some of things he received "notoriety" for in the press (which in reality probably aren't all that bad, anyway), he's been awfully fun to watch.
Even to the opposition.

This. In the second half, the field was drier that Winston's nine month old DNA stains.

Its hilarious that Bama fans feel like they have to make everything about them, even when the topic has zero to do with them. Some of you idiots on this board are tiresome.

I can buy this and upvoted your post.
LSU was the better team yesterday.
LSU earned their win and had an impressive performance.
I just think the results are being overblown.
Texas A&M didn't bring their A game. The defense didn't step up; LSU's did.
