fricking shovel passes, screen passes, and draw plays don't work on 3rd and long when there is a 33% chance of each being called every time...

He called an OK game until he told Collins to fumble it at the 9 yard line.

Chaney why u so stupid?

The first drive of every game is great. And then the rest of the game it's the fricking opposite. How can he so consistently get worse as every game goes on?

It was one of his better days to be sure, still some really questionable calls in crunch time, but turnovers killed it.

It's not like we lost the game because of Chaney.

Not saying he's a good OC but he doesn't deserve so much blame. If Collins doesn't fumble we win the game.

First several plays are scripted, then he has to make adjustments and make real time calls later on and that's when the bullshite happens.

Because he's awful. Kiffin called the plays in 2009 and I'm not quite sure that Tiller wasn't calling them at Purdue. Between the Purdue and Tennessee gig, he called zero plays.

In fact, I'm convinced Chaney never completely ran an offense until 2010. And it was terrible until Pittman was hired.

I've never been sold on the guy. Not now and not when he was at Tennessee.

This was one of his better games.

Shovel pass on 3rd & 9 in OT when you need a TD to tie.

This is a marriage that has been doomed from the start. Chaney wants to throw it 50 times a game and Bielema would prefer to never throw it.

Obviously he has to throw it. My point is he doesn't need another spread OC and try to mesh their styles. He needs to find someone who thinks the same way he does.

Nobody hired Chaney as an offensive coordinator when Joe Tiller retired at Purdue and Lane Kiffin didn't take him to USC because he didn't need him and never really did. I'm thinking he was only doing him a favor by hiring him in 2009.

...and out of nowhere, ESPN talking heads start calling him brilliant.

We're making the same mistakes as Tennessee 2010-2012.

Just my honest opinion.

Chaney may not be the greatest, but he is not the problem. The lack of experience and talent is the problem.

Truth is, we CAN'T throw it worth a darn, and I don't lay all the blame on Chaney for that.

It might make a huge difference if we were somewhat competent at passing when we needed to.
