Does this mean that GA on "the hill" is also sold out? My sister, BIL, and their kids are coming up from Houston for the game. I was talking to my sister this evening, and she asked me how many people would be there. I didn't know exactly what a sellout meant at Faurot.
Looking forward to my first game at Missouri, and please don't take your beating personally! ;)

There are always some GA tickets released on gameday, but it's a limited number and first come first serve. I'd start checking Stub Hub and see if you can find any there.

We already have our tickets. I was just wondering what size crowd to expect.

I bought some tickets yesterday on Stubhub for some friends coming in for the game. There were plenty of tickets still available for GA , but probably for a minimum of $50 or $60 a seat.
The atmosphere for this game will be great, especially if the SEC East is on the line.

Sell-out is roughly 70k.

I think it'll be around 68,000 this year, we're down 5,000 or so due to the construction I thought.

That's what I might do. I was trying to wait to see the future forecast before I buy tickets to make the 3.5hr drive to Columbia. I might just watch it on TV.

You should find some cheap GA tickets on StubHub. And you should definitely go to the game! The place will be rocking that night!! M-I-Z!!!

Bayou I'm gonna be doing the same thing. Thought I had a ticket until the last minute. Now I will be scrounging around on gameday too.

Capacity is just north of 67k this season (lost some seats due to construction). Will be 77k when east side upper deck is done, and about 83k when south end zone deck is completed.
That's all that is on the table for now.
I could see in the near future putting permenant seating in the north end zone along both sides of the rock M but that wouldn't add any capacity

Dumb question time.
Do y'all count the seating available on the rock M hill as a part of the official capacity?

Yes, and as a result some games aren't considered sell outs because the hill isn't full.

Doesn't Mizzou also count attendance by actual turnstyle counts instead of tickets sold?

Dress warm. It's gonna be 18 and windy this Saturday night. Hopefully it's the same next weekend.
Do y'all own snowmobile suits?

Yeah but in order for it to be a sellout, they must be packed shoulder-to-shoulder on the hill, whatever that magic number is that would declare the hill to be filled to capacity.

Current "capacity" is officially 67,124. That is what you will see announced at the A&M game.
Actual capacity is around 63k with the rest being SRO (hill seats). A sellout by normal standards for Mizzou is 63k.
And as was just discussed, numbers announced are turnstyle to an extent. We will likely have well over 67k at the game, but they will not announce anything over "capacity."
