This will be unpopular, but I'm suggesting we give Jake Holland a two week reprieve prior to the IB. He's trying, and his best just isn't on par with expectations.

He's going to be started and played, and that's not his decision. He goes out there and works hard and is a team player, and I honestly believe he's giving it his best. The Auburn Creed states "I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all."

Everyone that has an opinion on him has voiced it at this point, and in the sake of the Auburn spirit, I think we should give this guy a break.

Sorry Jake but at this point I would respect you more if you told the coaches you just weren't up to the task

They ran straight at him and he whiffed like a mofo

Eta I'm surprised he can tackle his own penis to play with himself.

Good Lord. The guy makes two plays like a MLB is supposed to and everything's forgiven.

Dude is flat out terrible. I've never seen worse LB play on the collegiate level.

If Holland was to go out I know we have Frost. But who would take that 2nd and 3rd string spot?

LOL, I'm not asking you to forgive or forget his past mistakes. I'm not asking you to change your opinion on his play. I'm not asking you to like the guy.

I'm suggesting we give the guy a break. I'm just suggesting that there is nothing else new to be said regarding his general inability, ineptitude, and dysfunction. Therefore we should cut him a little slack from his normal duties of auSECr whipping boy.

This hatred of Holland was borne out of a bygone era of dysfunction and ignorance in the entire football program. The program is changing, Holland is leaving; I think he might deserve a break, and if you believe in karma, it might be good for you, and maybe our team.

My honest thoughts on Holland are that he does try his best but he shouldn't be playing at this level. Unfortunately, the guys behind him have to be horrible to have not beat him out of the starting job which means he's our only option and we just have to pray that Ellis finds a way to neutralize him against Bama
