"The Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or the Heisman), is awarded annually to the most outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work."

Sounds like AJ to me. A guy willing to to whatever it takes to lead his team to victory of which he's done time and time again.

McCarron became the first quarterback to win back-to-back consensus national championships in the BCS era. McCarron is one of only seven quarterbacks in history to win back-to-back titles in some form and the first quarterback to win back-to-back consensus titles since Nebraska's Tommie Frazier in 1994 and 1995.In addition, since his freshman/redshirt year McCarron has been associated with three national title teams under coach Nick Saban: 2009, 2011, and 2012.

And he is smashing records at Alabama and is poised to win a 3rd straight title.

AJ deserves to be in NYC and if he doesn't win he should at the very least get a respectable amount of the vote.

What makes you think the other candidates don't or aren't willing to do whatever it takes to win?

Hell, JFF separated his shoulder against AU but refused to sit more than two drives.
