You'd think with the millions of acres of corn in IA, IN, PA, etc., someone would have figured out how to make grits, but somehow it mysteriously eluded them.

I'm southern born and I hate grits, no matter how you make them.
ETA: I do want to add I was allergic to corn for the first 6 years of my life.
