Would your attendance go up if the football field at your school was moved...

To the middle of the main tailgating area?
For Ole Miss, this certainly used to be the case during Nutts last couple of years. People would joke around that if the football field was in the middle of the grove that attendance would be awesome. Something weird happened in the last couple of years though, and this is no longer the case.
So how about your school? Would moving the field have a positive impact on your attendance? Feel free to explain why or why not.
*if this topic doesn't make any sense to you, or seems silly, don't bother with a response. Thanks

Uhhh.no. If people can't walk less than a mile from the tailgate to the stadium I would rather them not go anyway.

It probably helps A&M that our field is in between the two main tailgating areas.

Seriously for the LSU game I literally tailgated 200 feet from the gate.

I mean, what shithead is gonna say "man, I've got tickets to the game, but I mean I have to walk ALLL the way down this street to get to the stadium! Frick it, I just won't go"?
If people have tickets to get in the game, and want to go, and are on campus..they'll walk to the stadium regardless of where it is.

What's the point of this thread?
Pretty sure they aren't going to demolish the stadiums and rebuild them a few hundred yards away.
Anybody who loves tailgating but not the actual football game is a fraud and a fake fan and I don't want you at my tailgate anyway.

This thread doesn't make any sense. if the stadium was right on top of the the grove then the grove wouldn't exist as you know it or it would be somewhere else on campus, thus negating the whole question.
Oh, this clown. Carry on.

No stadium, just the field

I think you might be confusing cause and effect?

Oh I read it, and I decided to respond to your nonsense anyway.

We already tailgate right outside the gates. Next year there will be an equally large jumbotron that will be viewable from the junction. Hope that doesn't hurt attendance. State is getting really similar to the grove sometimes, as far as how many people just stay at the tailgate.

What do you mean go up? The games are already sold out. Does Ole Miss not sell out their home games?
