Very similar to the Vandy game in 2010. I get players are excited to win on the final play, but seeing our fans react the way they did after beating a program like South Carolina was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life to date. This isn't Florida, Bama, LSU or Georgia.

I would have been fine with it if they had pulled it out against UGA, but the players shite themselves that day. Just because they didn't frick up at the end on Saturday, they should not act like they accomplished something.

Tennessee will never win a game of importance if wins like that are celebrated.

shut up dude. We beat the number 11 team in the country and snapped a 19 game losing streak to ranked teams. Put it in perspective. This fanbase has been hungry for a win for way too long

South Carolina won't be ranked by the end of the season. They will finish the season with an 8-5 record.

I see you have a Dooleyism in your username. Looks like he has rubbed off on you.

Celebrating wins over shite tier programs should never be tolerated at Tennessee regardless of the circumstances.

You are young. But seeing South Carolina come close to winning a game at Neyland Stadium should never be celebrated.

Carolina has been a better program since like 05 and will always be moving forward.

Tennessee's last decade of non-celebration has been more embarrassing.

Odd thread OP.

On the flip side you should hear Gamexoxk fans on talk radio around here livid with Spurrier for losing to a lower tier program like Tennessee. Even Spurrier said this was one of the toughest losses in his life ... losing to an inferior program.

Men - I guess perception is reality and obviously your fans and players accept the reality that SCAR has surpassed UT, agreed?

How many hall of fame coaches does it take to win an SEC championship at South Carolina?

Gary Pinkel will finally take us to the promised land after we lure him away from mizzou at the end of the season

Maybe you're correct.

I view South Carolina in a similar way I view Mississippi State or Kentucky, but it seems as though people like VFLPolice thought we beat USC on Saturday rather than S. Carolina.

Good lord, it's like watching a roomful of giant Oompah-Loompahs celebrating the violent overthrow of Willy Wonka.

Given how close UT has come during this dark time only to fall short I have no problem with it. UT is not who they used to be, time to face it and deal with it.
