Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about Evans.

Is he the best receiver in A&M history?

Is he the best receiver in the SEC?

Is he the best in the Nation?

Would he be the same without JFF?

Stats:
Auburn Game: 11REC 287YDs 4TDs

For The Year: 43REC 1024YDs 9TDs

Last Year: 82REC 1105YDs 5TDS

He has a criminal trespass warning from the State of Alabama.

Seriously though, to be over 1,000 yards after only 7 games is just freakish. Too bad we won't have him next year.

Makes me wonder what NFL scouts think about him.

I don't think Johnny makes Mike Evans at all. In fact, if anything it's the other way around. Johnny makes good throws but Mike is always open. Always. Even when he's not.

Since Marquise Lee's injury has kept him out for long, is their any competition for the Biletnikoff? I think it is imperative that we win as many national player of the year awards. As many player accolades you can champion on recruiting, the better.

Evans is a beast plain and simple he out jumps out muscles and out runs 95% of the DB'S in the country plus the kid plays hard he blocks downfield and even when he knows the pass is going the other way he never lets up or takes a play off

It would be awesome for him to be invited to New York for the Heisman even though he wouldn't win.

He's an NFL starter currently furloughed to college...and it shows. It's almost unfair.

It's unfair that his talent is getting wasted because our defense is #120 out of 125 in the nation.

We would be undefeated if we could field a top 75 defense.

LSU would be undefeated if they had a head coach that understood clock management. We're both getting screwed when we have national championship caliber offenses.

Our O is much better than last year but I don't know. We scored 17 on UF. Mizzou doubled that with a backup QB.

We are waisting the possible GOAT and best receiver in the country with the worst defense I have ever seen. If that doesn't make you cry then i don't know what does

Just remember that some believed Ryan Leaf was a better pro prospect than Peyton Manning and look how that's worked out.

It's absolutely ridiculous how bad they are. Torbush had a better defense than this. Think about that.

That's what I like so much about the guy. His basketball pedigree really shows on the field. Every time a pass is thrown his way he fights for it like it's a rebound. He won't be the home run threat in the NFL due to his speed, but he'll be the big possession receiver that will keep the chains moving. I shudder at the thought of what he'll do to 5'11" NFL corners at the back of the end zone. They may have to make a new rule or something.

Did he?

The 2005 defense allowed 31.8 points per game. That's including allowing 8 to SMU and 31 to Texas State

The 2013 defense, thus far, has allowed 33.9 points per game, including allowing 13 to SMU.

The difference?

The 2005 offense averaged 32 points per game (including breaking 60 twice and being held below 20 three times)

The 2013 offense averages 47 points per game.

The fact that we have to debate about 2005 or 2013 being the worst defense says it all.

Think about this though:

If the 2005 offense scored a minimum of 41 points per game:

We beat Clemson (WIN)
We beat SMU (WIN)
We beat Texas State (WIN)
We go to OT with Colorado
We blast Baylor (WIN)
We beat Kansas State (WIN)
We are going to OT with Iowa State
We lose a close one vs. Texas Tech
We beat Oklahoma
We beat Texas

That's anything between 8-3 and 10-1 as opposed to 5-6.
