This will continue to be the difference:
quote:
[Against Ole Miss] Sophomore QB Johnny Manziel posted the fourth 300 pass/100 rush game of his career with 346 passing yards and 113 rushing yards. It is the most 300/100 games by any player in FBS history.

Auburn will score in the 40's. It comes down to if they can prevent Aggy from doing the same.
45-38 Auburn pulls the upset.

Besides UF in JFF's first ever game, what inferior team have we lost to?
LSU was legitimatly better last year...and Bama this year
What piece of evidence makes you think JFF/Sumlin in particular have it in them to be upset at home to a double diget underdog? Besides just blindly saying "aggys D sucks, they'll eventually lose"

Because almost every game you get in is a shootout. Odds will catch up with you sooner or later.
AU has a good running game. The best defense against JFF is keeping him on the bench.

It's weird that you get upset that people think Aggy is not immune to the same occasional sloppy game and potential surprise loss that every team in the history of football has had the potential to experience.
Auburn is looking good right now. Take the sand out of your vagina and quit expecting everyone to bow to the almighty JFF and Sumlin.

Preseason I would have said no chance. But AU is looking really solid. I think it's going to be a great game.

I think the way AU's dline is playing on the edges, coupled with the fact that Therezie will likely spy Manziel, will "contain" Manziel more than usual. I think AU can force him into a TO or two.
AU's offensive line is legit, and will own the LOS. I see AU rushing for 350-400 in this game. QB play for AU isn't going to be much of a factor in this game, because it's doubtful AU will have to air it out much.
It's going to come down to turnovers. AU's offense is much better than OM at this point and what Bama's was when they met. I will take the homer position and say I believe AU pulls the upset when comparing strengths and weaknesses.

Think whatever you want
I just find it funny that no matter what we do, everyone still believes we are ripe for an upset. If we beat Auburn, it will be "I think Vandy has a real shot at upsetting A&M, their D is awful"
You'd think after being wrong over and over and over, people would learn...but that isn't how it works I guess

It should be a good game.
But our QB can juke with the best of 'em.

There ya go. If AU controls the clock and JFF opportunities by running the ball, why not.

Not one single person is doubting how good Manziel is.

I believe AU has the top rushing offense right now (287/gm - 7th in nation), and they'll be playing the worst rushing defense in the league. Not to mention their dline is depleted. 350 isn't too crazy. There's zero doubt that AU's offensive line grades among the top in the conference.

I didn't think y'all were.
I'm just making myself feel better about our anemic defense.
Bottom line: We'll have to score more than y'all do.
(how's that for a cerebral prediction?)

That OM defender never had a chance.

It's almost not fair.

Friendly tip. Don't put money on the upset.
Auburn will be exposed.

It'll be close. Auburn still has a bad tendency to give up huge plays, and that'll be a problem against A&M.
