...they still lose.

Assuming the win is not a blowout - and it won't be - I see Georgia dropping at most to 12th or 13th and Missouri rising at most to 17th-18th. For those of you keeping score at home, that's a 2 loss team ranked 4-6 spots higher than a undefeated team that beat them. That will probably carry into the BCS.

If Missouri goes on to get into a three-way tie with UGA and UF, they have no chance whatsoever of being in the right spot of the rankings to get into the SECCG.

Sucks to be on the outside looking in at the beginning.

Got to win a lot of games before we're even thinking about being on the inside of anything.

ETA: I see what happened there. Too well hidden.

That's not that big a deal. Now if that team that won was undefeated then you might have a point.

They play Florida the next week at Home, after Florida just played LSU in Death Valley. Will be funny to see Missouri win the East.

It would be their biggest win since joining the conference. It would be a huge victory for Mizzou.

I doubt many Mizzou fans will be butthurt over the big picture outlook if they beat the Dawgs.

You should care a great deal - if UGA goes on to win out, and you lose to Florida, then assuming Florida and you have no other losses, that's two 2-loss teams ahead of you for the SECCG, where you have only one loss.

They are Missouri fans, they don't consider competing for anything except a December bowl game in Shreveport

So Georgia wins out, that means they beat Florida.
Florida beats Mizzou
Mizzou beats Georgia.

The tiebreaker is national ranking?

ETA: I realize a one loss Mizzou is pretty funny, but if that's the case. What are the tiebreakers in the SEC?

They'll be in a three-way tie for 2nd in the East behind SCAR.

I am so happy SCAR played a tough enough early schedule to test their metal and workout the kinks before this road stretch.

If Mizzou wins out, which won't happen, they will be in the MNC. They will have beaten UGA, UF, USCe, and either Bama, LSU, or A&M. Again, it won happen, but no need to worry about perception following an upset against UGA that I don't think will happen either.

missouri will lose to UF and aTm for sure, and maybe SC. There won't be a 3 way tie with them in the east.
